A third vendor has throw their hat into the ring with the new 890GX chipset. Now MSI has added a mATX offering to join with the full ATX boards already available from Asus and Gigabyte. Perhaps reflecting its small form factor, MSI's current contribution shaves some cost as well as size in comparison to the competition, coming in at $10-$28 less (shipped) than currently available models from other manufacturers.

As you might expect is important to me, being a 555 BE owner, I went immediately to the review listed above, seeking info on core unlocking. As the article makes no mention of core unlocking, I will assume until it is proven otherwise that (like the Gigabyte) the MSI board does not include core unlocking features. Since ACC is missing from 890GX/SB850, special accomodations would need to be made, and would have probably already been mentioned if they were to be included.
My Asus M4A89GTD Pro is scheduled to arrive today, so stay tuned for more cutting-edge 890 chipset goodness!
